Florence's History
My parents used to drag me to Antique shops when I was little. My mother, especially, was fond of both vintage and antique items, and a good deal. As I grew up, I looked forward to the day trips or weekend afternoons when we would stop at any and all general stores, antique malls, and “junk” shops. Some of my best memories and fondest belongings came from those trips. I lost her to Ovarian Cancer in 2003, but what she taught me about old furniture, collectibles, china, crystal, etc, and the tips and tricks to both acquire them at a reasonable price and to repair and maintain them remain. I named my business after my Mom, Florence Anne Kingsley, and I work everyday to apply her teachings and make her proud. I hope that you will find something special for yourself or as a gift in the shop. If not this trip, I hope you enjoy your visit and come back often to see our regularly revolving inventory.
